Privacy for Web Visitors
One can visit our Web site with complete privacy. A Web site visitor can choose to provide customer-specific information by ordering a product or service, send us e-mail, or register on the WSHA Web site. Any information provided by a Web site visitor is held strictly confidential within the family of The Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA), and its authorized agents, strategic partners, and financial service providers, and will not be sold, rented, leased, or otherwise made available to any other organization or business.
Privacy for Merchant Account Subscribers
Authorize.net affiliated merchant banking companies and services collects information from Internet subscribers or users as necessary to provide merchant banking services. This information remains COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL and is transmitted between facilities under the highest encryption standards commercially available.
Types of Customer Information
On some Web pages users can order products, make requests or register to receive information. Such customer-specific information will be used to fulfill the specific request or purpose for which it was provided. In addition, such voluntarily provided information may be occasionally used to offer products and services that may be of interest. Customer "testimonials" and praise for our products and services sent to us may be used on our website. These "testimonials" will have the personal information suppressed, unless we have received specific permission to include this information, or it is already in the public domain- ex: magazine article, blog, website, or other publicly accessible document.
Our Use of “Cookies”
”Cookies” are small files of data that we send to your computer to allow us to recognize you if you return to the WSHA site using the same computer and browser. We send a “session cookie” to your computer if and when you log in to your WSHA account by entering your gateway id and password. These cookies allow us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages in our site during the same session, so that you don’t need to re-enter your password multiple times.
If you are currently receiving the newsletter, and would like to be removed from the mailing list, send an email with the word "REMOVE' by visiting this our contact form. Once removed, that email address will no longer receive information from WSHA. You will need to re-register if you want to sign up again on the site.
Privacy of On-line Personal information
No personal information obtained on-line is released outside of the family of The Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA) or its authorized agents, except with the customer's permission, as required by law, for safety reasons, or to survey customer satisfaction, under nondisclosure protection. We use the information provided when placing an order to complete that order. We do not share that information with outside parties except as necessary to fulfill the on-line order (e.g., providing the "ship to" address to our shipper.) We may also use that information to offer other products or services of interest. We do not sell, rent, lease, or make available, customer information to any outside party.
Access by Children
The Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA) Web site is not structured to attract children under the age of 13. The Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA) and its affiliated companies believe there is no information on its Web sites which is inappropriate for viewing by children. Ordering on-line products and services from The Washington State Horticultural Association (WSHA) affiliated companies is limited to adults.
